Refund policy

At The Thrift Kart, we strive to provide you with a seamless shopping experience from start to finish. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel your order. Please read our Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully to understand your options.

Cancellation Policy

You have the option to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. To initiate a cancellation:

  1. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: If you've selected Cash on Delivery as your payment method, simply message us on WhatsApp with your Order ID and a screenshot of your cancellation request. Our customer service team will assist you further.

  2. Other Payment Methods: For orders made using any other payment method, please contact our customer support team via email or phone with your Order ID and cancellation request.

  3. Delivery Charges are Non-Refundable: 

    For Prepaid orders, the delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been shipped. In case of a return, exchange, or refund request, only the product amount will be eligible for refund, and the original shipping fee will not be reimbursed.

    For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the delivery fee and COD handling charges are also non-refundable under any circumstances, including returns, exchanges, or order cancellations after dispatch. These charges cover logistics and payment processing costs incurred during the delivery process.

Refund Process

Size-Related Issues: Refunds will not be processed for any size-related concerns. We strongly advise customers to carefully check the size details before placing an order. The Thrift Kart reserves the right to make a final decision on such requests and may charge a return shipping fee if the return is exceptionally accepted.

Upon successful cancellation of your order, we will initiate the refund process as follows:

  1. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunds for COD orders will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your cancellation request. The refunded amount will be credited to your bank account via NEFT or other suitable means.

  2. Other Payment Methods: For orders made using credit/debit cards, net banking, or any other electronic payment method, the refunded amount will be credited back to the source mode of payment within 7-14 business days.

Important Notes:

  • Refunds are subject to the condition that the cancellation request is made within the specified time frame and the product has not been shipped.
  • Refunds will only be processed if the product is in the same condition as it was when shipped. Any damage or alterations may result in a partial or no refund.
  • In the event that the product has already been dispatched, you may still be eligible for a refund upon returning the item in its original condition as per our Returns Policy.
  • Refunds are processed in accordance with Indian law and banking regulations.
